Teachings

Dharma for all stages of practice.

Timeless teachings, met in the rhythm of daily practice.

PRACTICE

The teachings are not ideas to be collected but a path to be walked. Here they take the shape of practice — sitting, chanting, study, and service — woven into the ordinary rhythm of the days.

Whatever brings you, you will find a place to begin. The path asks only your presence; the rest unfolds with practice.

These are not separate paths so much as different doors into the same room — take up whichever one calls to you first, and let the others open in their own time.

OFFERINGS

  • Meditation: Guided sitting practice to steady the mind and open the heart.
  • Chanting & ceremony: Daily liturgy and seasonal ceremonies, chanted together as a community.
  • Study & teaching: Talks and study that bring the Dharma into everyday understanding.
  • Retreat: Longer periods of quiet practice, set apart from the daily round.
  • Service & merit: Practising generosity and care together, and dedicating the merit.
  • Guidance for beginners: A gentle starting point for those new to practice — no experience needed.

GETTING STARTED

  1. Choose a practice: Pick whichever of the offerings above draws your interest — there's no required starting point.
  2. Attend a session: Join a guided sitting or an upcoming ceremony to see the practice in person before committing further.
  3. Speak with a teacher: A short conversation can answer more than any page — teachers and long-time practitioners are glad to talk.
  4. Find your rhythm: Practice settles in gradually; let a personal rhythm form rather than forcing one from the start.
